As one case of the 100 Campuses’ Renovation Plan in Shenzhen, this project had been built within one summer vacation in 2022, including facade recreation, outdoor venue restoration, roof garden construction, classrooms & restrooms, and multi-functional room improvements.
The facade weaved by poles with gradient curvature generates a curtain wall with vibrant hues, evoking a sensation of being lifted by a gentle breeze. The curved surfaces, designed with a proper height, also serve as seating areas extending from the corridor, providing a restful space for children after their class.
In the roof garden, the steel framework offers the potential for the installation of portable planters, which could be arranged in accordance with the specific types of plants and seasonal variations in both a horizontal and vertical configuration.
